0 comments haven been updating for a while bcos the internet here is pretty unstable. life in singapore has been too good with the unlimited download and internet is always wrking well, unlike here. at my place, each room is now given a download quota of 3GB! 3 pathetic GB!! grr.... well, of cos, if u wanna have more, u'll have to pay for it at $5/GB. what's worse was i got sick!! i've got cough, runny nose, slight fever and the worst of all, sore throat!! i totally couldn't speak for 3 days! wth. got medicine from the pharmacy in sch, and it's bloody ex! well, it least my sore throat got better. anyway, i finally edited some pics taken from EKKA. EKKA is like a big carnival thingy, with lots of stuff. River Festival is coming, and i heard the fireworks displayed then will be damn good. i think it's on this coming saturday. will post the pics then. as for now, make do with pics from EKKA. ha!  i don't know what happened   i bet u didn't know this!  there were ponies for children to ride on  and many of these stalls just like our pasa malam  at a corner, there's this place where meat is being auctioned. the guy in blue is holding the bacon on auction. i think it was sold for 35 bucks.  at the side, rows of meat were hanging. they're all "competition meat" each with grades!   there were those theme-park rides too    it's said to be on sales, but it's still 3000 bucks! but to Eagles fans, i think it sounds pretty cheap  there's a mini goat farm  i wonder why a part of it sinks in  Puma has must gotten their idea from here  at another corner, it's a huge place selling all kinds of show bags!!! they're all alot cheaper than the actual retail price. for some, actual retail price could be like 100+, but they're now selling for like 10 bucks!! (of cos i bought that one. HA!)   some "scary ghost" in front of the ghost ride   with nth much left to do, we went to the stadium to wait for performances to start and also checking what are the performances for the day.   there's wood-chopping competition  there's also some stupid animal parade, which is just walking some cows round the stadium, seeing some cows go out of control, car-racing (which we kinda hate, not bcos it wasn't exciting, but bcos we're seated at the turning area, alot of sand got to us when the car drifted past), choir, horse-racing, etc....... fireworks nv fail to make a good ending     |
