3 comments 20080808 - Olympics opening!! went for dinner with qianzi's hostel friends at Chinatown. aft tt, qianzi, aik lim n i headed to southbank for movie -> Mama Mia!! ok. i know we're kinda late, but still, at least we get to catch it right. anyway, i think it's not that bad. it's just that when Pierce Brosnan was singing, i couldn't help but laugh. i think it's cos his image in my mind is still at James Bond. LOL! aft tt, we went to Suncorp Piazza to catch the screening of the Olympics opening. before everything started, there was some kungfu performance.    yes, there were lots of china ppl.  finally, it started!!  the whole opening was great! just that when there were fireworks, the advertisements come in. grrr.... aik lim, qian zi and me  we didn't get to see singapore walking out cos it was freezing cold that night and we need to catch the last ferry back home. 20080809 - National Day!! went for Soiree in the afternoon. it's some fun fair held by one of the hostels in sch.   one of the performances was the Ken-Ken dance       they had to look aft a stall and they got bored. so they pretended that they're having some press conference and im pretending to be a fan of theirs. ok.. very lame.  me very happy after getting the signature. ha!!  joanne at the back   later that night, we headed to sch to catch the live screening of the NDP. im so patriotic! red and white!!!  queuing for food. (dinner was provided)   i wonder why they have this. kinda meaningless right.  lousy goodie-bags  advertisements while waiting for NDP to start  everyone went crazy went we saw the Shengsiong advertisement. haa!!   singing the national anthem  p.s.after soooo long, i managed to change a new skin!! took quite abit of time cos i've forgotten everything abt html codes!! wanted to do a dropdown list, and when an option is being clicked, a new page will open in a new window.. but i just cant seem to do it. it just doesn't work properly. ha! ok. just make do with it. |
