8 comments i've moved into the place tt im gonna be living for at least till the end of the yr!! let me show u around.. this is desk 1 and the main door is the one with the no-smoking sign.. the other door comes from the wardrobe   this is desk 2 with my fan and windows  the so-called "walk-in wardrobe"  the messy toilet.. toilet bowl on the left  the bed!!  have been visiting these 2 pubs which seems to be quite famous in brisbane.. they were said to serve great steaks!! so i went there over the wkend.. saturday was over to Norman Hotel at Ipswich Road.. the place is packed man! 1st time i see so many ppl at late hours..  actually not very late, but during wkdays in the city at 9+ looks like this..  anyway, its pretty cool.. aft u order what u want from the counter, u're given a device like this..  then u go back to ur table to sit and wait.. when this device beeps and vibrates, ur food is ready for collection!! (self-service) 4got all about taking pics cos the steak looks too delicious! can't wait to lay my knive on it.. ha! beer of the month.. only A$5!! tastes good too!  still early to head back.. so dad and i headed to the casino.. (dressed like under 18? they wanted to check my ID.. haa!) anyway, the casino is filled with ppl too.. just stood around watching ppl play.. played a little jackpot.. 1cent ones! hahaa! 2nd floor of the casino is like a mini club!! there's a live band with ppl dancing around.. one of the exits of the mini club is more tables for gambling!! cool man! but i seriously wonder how those ppl gamble with those deafening music.. sunday, headed to Breakfast Creek Hotel..  its a similar concept.. just a diff device..  my T-Bone steak  dad had spare ribs  i did went to UQ to open my bank account n attend some sessions regarding getting accommodation and getting ready for uni.. the campus is huge!! and the place is kinda like those seen on drama.. ha!   in Brisbane, there's another form of public transport called CityCat.. its a "ferry" that goes along Brisbane River.. and UQ is one of the stops! quite cool!    |
