0 comments FRIDAY FYP presentation.. we went to sch at 7.30am to prepare for it.. we're all nervous.. oh btw.. some corrections.. remember tt i said tt we'll get E- if the system goes wrong half-way thru the demo? well, its actually D-.. my fren told me the wrong ting.. aniwae, the presenatation went on quite smoothly.. but there were some hiccups.. 1 part of the student loan didnt display the content.. we were like WTF!! (even though i usually didn't say these, i said it in my heart this time) we xplained to the judges tt maybe we can go thru the process again.. luckily, it worked!! all of us were like 'urghhh'.. n the date.. goodness.. cos we 4got to validate tt part whereby the user cant input 30 n 31st feb.. n 1 of the judges wanted to test that.. n the error showed.. shir click on 'back' immediately.. haha!! n the labels for my forms went wrong too.. the record is already stored in the database.. but the label showed an error msg.. overall, 1 of the judges said it was not bad.. i tink she didn't xpect us to complete the system.. continued doing BRCOM wif shir.. goodness.. i hate it.. dinner wif ju, huey n chak at new york new york.. 'nice place' they've got there.. i dun understand y the waiters there speak chinese to us.. n they go 'ah' at the end of every sentence.. there's a guy who even popped his head in the middle of chak n me, n go 'hmmm??'.. i was shocked.. they had a blackout n the manager said tt it was on purpose when he walked pass our table.. we were like 'oh.. really?' the best ting is we had free desserts!! a fondue n a waffle.. hhaaa! took lots of pics there.. i guess ppl waiting to be seated wanna kill us.. cos we've been sitting there for ages, but they're still in the queue.. fyi, there's a realli long queue outside.. SATURDAY went to watch fireworks wif my family.. we waited for it to start at one fullerton.. juz outside 'babyface'.. i even saw my MDAD lecturer.. hahaa! but i acted as if i didn't see him.. but i guess he saw me though.. the fireworks was by italians.. it was great.. it looked grand n magnificent.. n together wif the songs they played, it matched totally.. oh.. nathan was there too.. (the president of singapore) dinner was at 1 of the restaurants along one fullerton.. the food was not bad.. =] aniwae, im so gonna watched the nxt few fireworks display.. most probably find a restaurant n sit there n wait.. hahaa!! |
